Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and sugar until well blended
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth
Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt
Fold in the chocolate chips
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls
Place them on the prepared baking sheet
Gently flatten each dough ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
